The hotel lies in a close proximity of Angkor Wat temples so if you plan on visiting the area, this is the best place for you to stay at. The staff was super helpful at all times. A pick-up from the airport as well as taking us back to the airport when we left was free of charge, the tuk tuk driver was at our convenience pretty much 24/7. The price for driving us around the temples in Angkor was 18 USD (fixed) and the driver took great care of us. There was a bottle of water for us in the room and in the tuk tuk anytime we needed/wanted. The hotel itself is not far from the main street where you find plenty of pubs, bars, souvenir shops, massage parlours etc. The prices are more than reasonable although to haggle a little will not do you any harm and you can reduce the price of the item/service you want to get. There is a 7/11 right across the street where you can get basic foods, wine, beer, etc. The hotel restaurant offers lunches and dinners co we gave it a try and we were not disappointed at all. The food was excellent. Breakfast is served there as well and it is quite rich so everyone would find what they want. There is also a pool accessible directly from the lobby and a free WiFi which worked great everywhere in the hotel. No problems with the signal whatsoever The room was equipped with a small refrigerator and an A/C which worked without any problems. And the price was more than great. If I ever get to the area any time in the furture, I will definitely stay in this hotel.

The location of Sakaban Hotel is great only 10 minites walk to the French quarter, Pub street, and the night market. There are also plenty of Cambodian restaurants along the street, a 7-11 store 2 minutes walk, tuktuks at the door, and places to rent bikes and motorbikes and do your laundry. The hotel is very nice and well maintained in general. Every day, you see housekeepers cleaning the rooms and common areas and ensuring the guests have everything they need in their rooms. The staff at the reception is very nice too, always with a smile and ready to help. The facilities of the hotel are very good: front desk with 24h assistant, sofas to relax and a small pool to cool down and chill out. I had a lovely room with a balcony facing the pool, so the views were pretty nice. The room itself was quite big, with a queen bed, a big bathroom with a walk-in shower, and a desk and chair. There was also a fridge and a kettle, and the hotel provided fresh water, tea, and coffee. I didn't have any meals besides the buffet breakfast, so I can not comment on that. After the checkout, the staff allowed me to leave my bags there for a couple of hours until I was ready to head to the airport. That was very helpful and I did appreciate it. Overall, it was a pleasure to spend 10 days there and I would recommend this hotel to anyone.

This lovely, little hotel was in a great location, on a street with lots of restaurants and bars, and 7-Eleven just across the street. Our room was quite spacious with an extra sitting area, and very quiet since it was at the back of the hotel. The pool was quite nice for cooling off in at the end of the day of excursions in Angkor Wat. The hotel arranged a tuk-tuk driver to take us around the various sites in Angkor Wat, which is necessary as the temples are quite far apart. The breakfast was quite plentiful with an omelette station, various pastries, fruits, and other items. The staff was very helpful and friendly, always with big smiles!

Patrice

Very nice (smaller) hotel close to everything, but far enough from the noise (5min walk to center with nice and cheap restaurants on the way, which are not like the touristy ones in the Pub street). I would especially like to mention staff and Cambodian people in general, we felt so welcoming like nowhere else in SE Asia. They really try to make your stay special, accomodate you in any way possible and I was also surprised by their well spoken English. For people and staff I give rating 10/10. We are sorry that we stayed only two nights here (it should have been at least 4), definitely will come back to Cambodia.

This place is wonderful. Very charming boutique hotel with equally charming staff. The hotel room we had on the first floor was huge! The location is awesome and a few kilometers away from the temples. Btw, we hired a tuk tuk driver to take us to and from the temples for about $20/day. Also, we bought a 3-day temple pass for $62. Pretty good deal considering a 1-day pass costs $37. In between temple hopping, we came back to relax in the very nice pool. About a 5 minute walk to Pub Street. Also, there are lots of local eats, markets, bars, etc that are 1-2 min walks away from the hotel.
